NDMP offers unique learning opportunities for researchers and students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical field experience in disaster management and climate change-related research. Additionally, it provides a platform to present research papers at various forums, including seminars, conferences, and symposiums. An internship with NDMP also allows interns to collaborate with leading disaster management and climate change-related organizations and institutions in the region and work alongside renowned disaster management and climate change practitioners.

NDMP invites highly motivated research scholars and students from colleges and universities across Pakistan to join as interns and pursue scientific research to complete their research theses. NDMP ensures a conducive working environment where interns can gain valuable hands-on experience in disaster management and climate change adaptation. Their skills will also be enhanced through participation in NDMP’s short courses, workshops, and seminars, offered periodically through fee-based programs and sessions organized for partners.

Subject to funding availability, NDMP may provide a stipend to support interns’ living expenses in Islamabad.

NDMP encourages applications from students with a social sciences, environmental sciences, or development background who possess strong oral and written communication skills and adequate computer literacy. NDMP will provide a dedicated workspace for interns during the internship period.
