WaterAid Project: Conducting Training on PDNA/PCNA, CR-WASH, and WASH Financing for Government Officials in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi

The Network of Disaster Management Practitioners (NDMP), in collaboration with WaterAid, successfully organized a series of impactful training workshops across three major cities in Pakistan—Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. These workshops were designed to enhance the capacity of stakeholders in critical areas such as Post-Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA), Climate-Resilient WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and WASH Financing.

Running parallel over two days, the workshops brought together diverse participants from government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations. NDMP provided technical expertise and hands-on training, empowering participants with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively address challenges in disaster-prone areas and to build sustainable WASH systems. This initiative was made possible through funding support from WaterAid, a leading global NGO dedicated to improving access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. Together, WaterAid and NDMP are contributing to building resilient communities equipped to tackle the impacts of climate change and disasters.
