The Network of Disaster Management Practitioners (NDMP), in collaboration with CESVI, WHH, and FRDP, is actively supporting the development of the Provincial Disaster Response Plan (PDRP) for Sindh under the framework of the ECHO-funded BRAND Project. This important initiative is being executed with the support of PDMA Sindh and aims to strengthen disaster preparedness and response across the province. As part of this project, NDMP successfully conducted six divisional consultation workshops in the divisions of Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Karachi, and Hyderabad. These workshops engaged key stakeholders in discussions and validation of the response plan. The process culminated in the Provincial Consultation and Validation Workshop held in Karachi, where the final findings and recommendations were shared and reviewed. This collaborative effort is a significant step in ensuring a coordinated and effective disaster response framework for Sindh.
